How to customise your tax invoices

You can customise your tax invoices by adding your email, phone number, NZBN, farm logo, or a personal message.

Customising Your Tax Invoice

1. Go to Actuals > Tax Invoices.
2. Click the Settings cog in the top-right corner.

This will open the customisation options. 

In the General screen:

1. GST Mode: Choose GST exclusive or GST inclusive as your default view. Changes will apply to future invoices only—historical invoices will remain unchanged.
2. Default dates: Shows read-only view of selected default dates. These dates can be overwritten when creating invoices. To edit default dates, click the green information (i) button.
3. Email: Add your farm's email address.
4. Phone: Enter your farm's phone number.
5. New Zealand Business Number (NZBN): Include your NZBN.
6. Farm Business Logo: Upload or drag and drop your logo file.
7. Click Save to apply your changes.                                                                                                                         
   
   
   

   In the Notes screen:

8. Invoice Note: Add a personal message, such as payment terms or late payment policies         

NOTE: Customisations will apply to all future invoices. Previously saved invoices will retain their original details.

Steps to set default dates

1. Go to Settings > Financial Data
2. Scroll down to Default date
3. Enter a Invoice date.  Options include:
   1. Today's date
   2. Start if current month
   3. End of previous month
4. Enter due date. Options include:
   1. Same as invoice date
   2. 7 days from invoice date
   3. 14 days from invoice date
   4. Next available 20th of the month.
