Focus Payroll is a farm-ready payroll solution built into Farm Focus that allows you to manage your people and payroll in the same system you use to run your farm.

It brings payroll into your existing Farm Focus workflow so you can:

• Reduce double handling and manual data entry.
• Keep your payroll and farm data connected.

Focus Payroll is designed to reduce complexity, save time, and help you focus on running your farm rather than managing separate systems.

It is powered by Lightning Payroll, a payroll provider trusted by over 4,000 businesses across Australia and New Zealand and endorsed by both the Australian Taxation Office and Inland Revenue.

Focus Payroll is currently available for Australian and New Zealand farmers.

How to sign up to Focus Payroll

To sign up, follow these steps:

1. Go to your Farm Focus navigation and select the Focus Payroll icon.
2. Follow the on-screen prompts to begin the sign-up process.
3. Select the payroll package that best suits your farm based on the number of employees you pay.
4. Complete your subscription and verify it using the confirmation email sent to your inbox.

Once your subscription is verified:

• The Focus Payroll team contacts you to arrange an onboarding session.
• During onboarding, your payroll is set up with your existing employee information.
• Payroll history and leave balances are imported so your records are accurate from day one.
• You are supported through setup to ensure you are ready for your first pay run.

What happens after a pay run is completed?

Once you complete a pay run in Focus Payroll:

• The pay is automatically created as a coded invoice.
• This invoice appears in your Needs Action screen in Farm Focus.
• You can review and process it as part of your normal farm workflow.

This ensures payroll is fully integrated into your farm accounting process without extra data entry.
