How to understand user access levels in Farm Focus

User access levels

Farm Focus has four user access levels:

Subscription Admin

The Subscription Admin is the user who purchases the farm subscription. This role has full access to all functions of the farm business.

A Subscription Admin can:

• Manage billing.

• Create and set up the farm business.

• Add users and manage their access.

Organisation Admin

A farm subscription can have multiple Organisation Admins. This role is assigned by the Subscription Admin and is ideal for accountants, consultants, or key farming team members who need to make changes.

An Organisation Admin can:

• Change settings such as bank accounts and codes.

• Add and manage users with Restricted access.

• Access all farm business functions except billing.

• View and manage Accountant Codes.

• Export information to the General Ledger.

Restricted Access

Both Subscription Admins and Organisation Admins can grant Restricted Access to users. This level is suitable for farm staff but is not recommended for accountants as they cannot set up or edit Accountant Codes.

A Restricted Access user can:

• Access all areas of the farm business except Settings and Billing.

Reporting Access

Both Subscription Admins and Organisation Admins can grant Reporting Access. This is a read-only role, meaning users can view information and reports but cannot make changes. This level is useful for those who need access to farm data without editing permissions.

How to check your access level

1. Click on your profile icon.

2. Select Farms.

3. A list of farms and your access levels will be displayed.
