How to enter or amend effective hectares

Making sure your effective hectares are accurate is essential for generating accurate reports and ensuring your data reflects any changes to your land area.

Ways to amend your effective hectares

1. In your Farm Business Settings:

   • Go to Settings > Farm Business.

   • Scroll down to the Effective Farm Area section.

1. • Use the dropdown to view and amend your effective hectares for previous years.

   • Overwrite the figures as needed. This figure will be used in your reports moving forward.

2. In your Economic Farm Surplus (EFS) Report:

   • Go to Reports > EFS Report.

   • Use the Adjustments feature to amend the effective farm area.

1. • This helps you see the impact of changes in area, useful when your land area changes mid-year or when reviewing draft plans with varying land areas.

2. In your Livestock Trading Report:

   • Go to Reports > Livestock Trading Report.

   • Use the Adjustments feature to change the effective farm area.

• • This is helpful when reviewing reports by management tag with different farm areas.
