How to set up a bank feed in Farm Focus for NZ customers

What are Bank Feeds?

Bank feeds are a secure connection that automatically brings transactions into your Farm Focus farm business, helping you maintain a complete and up-to-date financial view.

Available for NZ customers: BNZ, ANZ, ASB, Rabobank, and Westpac customers can sign up for the complimentary bank feeds service.

NOTE: The BNZ connection requires a different setup process. BNZ connections are activated the same day, while other banks require a form that can take 7-10 working days for activation. Learn how to set up BNZ direct feeds here.

Set Up a Bank Feed

1. Go to Bank Accounts

   • Click Settings.

   • Select Bank accounts.

2. Select Your Account

   • Choose an existing bank account, or refer to How to set up a bank account if your bank account isn’t set up yet.

3. Download the Bank Feed Form

   • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Download bank feed form.

   • The form will be saved to your Downloads folder.

1. Complete and Submit the Form

   • Once the form is completed, scan and email it to bankfeeds@farmfocus.co.nz for authorisation.

   TIP: If you need to reprint the form, click Download the form again.
   TIP: If you have more than one bank account, you will need to submit a separate form for each account.

What Happens Next?

• Bank transactions will automatically start arriving in your Farm Focus business within 10 working days.

• To check the progress of your authorisation form, go to Settings > Bank accounts.

Inactive Bank Accounts

• Any bank accounts that have had transactions completed through Rural will appear in your Farm Focus account. Some of these may no longer be active or relevant.

• You can mark these accounts as Inactive in the Bank Account Details settings.

• Inactive accounts will still show in your Needs Action screen, but we’re working on removing them from this screen in the future.

TIP: Deactivate any old or irrelevant bank accounts to ensure your system stays up to date.
