Why use bank feeds? Bank feeds automatically import transactions from your Australian bank into Farm Focus using our secure provider, Wych. This gives you a current view of your farm business income and expenses without manual data entry. Benefits Bank feeds help you: Reduce manual transaction entry. Keep records up to date. Improve accuracy. Save time on monthly processing. Before you start You must have internet banking set up with your bank. You must have authority to grant consent for the account. NOTE: Bank feeds powered by Wych are available for Australian banks only. Steps to complete Step 1: Add a bank feed in Farm Focus Go to Settings > Bank account. Click + Add a bank feed. Click Connect to bank feeds. You will be redirected to our secure data provider, Wych. Step 2: Create a connection in Wych Click Create new connection. Click Connect. Select your bank from the list, or use the search function. Wych uses a secure connector to link to your bank. You must authorise Farm Focus to access your banking data. Read the information provided. Select Authorise if appropriate. Review the legal disclaimers. Select Consent if appropriate. You will then be redirected to your internet banking login screen. NOTE: Each bank’s login and authorisation process is slightly different. This part of the process is controlled by your bank and is outside Farm Focus. Step 3: Select bank accounts Log in to your internet banking. Choose the bank account(s) you want Farm Focus to access. Confirm your selection. You will then return to Farm Focus. Step 4: Confirm settings in Farm Focus Confirm the bank account(s) to connect. Enter the bank feed start date. Enter any overdraft details if required. Click Save. Transactions from your selected start date will appear in Needs action. Balancing your bank account In the short term, you must manually balance your account at the end of each month. Go to Needs action > Balancing. Complete the balancing process. Learn more. Automated balancing will be available in a future release.
