How to attach documents in Farm Focus

Attach digital copies of bills and other documents to invoices and bank transactions in Farm Focus for easy access and record-keeping.

Why attach documents?

Farm Focus allows you to securely store documents alongside invoices and bank transactions. You can also use The Vault to store unrelated documents that don’t link to a specific invoice or transaction.

Examples of attachments:

• Buyer created invoices (kill sheets)

• Supplier statements (e.g. Farmlands)

• Hire purchase agreements

• Contracts

• Photographs

Once uploaded, you and other authorised users can access these documents anytime.

How to attach a document to an invoice or transaction

You can add attachments anywhere you see the paperclip icon, including:

• Invoices

• Bank transactions

• Asset register

• Document storage

• Non-financial stock events

1. Click on the paperclip icon.

2. Choose one of the following options:

   • Drag and drop: Move the document from your computer or tablet (e.g. from the Downloads folder) and drop it into the invoice or transaction record.

   • Browse: Click Browse, locate the file on your computer or tablet, and select it.

How to remove a document

1. Open the invoice or transaction containing the document.

2. Click the paperclip icon in the top right corner.

3. Click the trash can icon next to the file name.

4. Select Delete to remove the document.

NOTE: If the invoice is located on a webpage (e.g. Gmail or a supplier’s website), you must save the file to your computer before attaching it to Farm Focus.
