Understanding livestock movement helps you track financial and non-financial changes in your stock throughout the year.

Benefits:
This section displays:

• Total financial movements (sales and purchases) for each stock category (e.g., Sheep) and stock class (e.g., MA Ewes).
• Total non-financial movements, including births, deaths, and missing livestock.

Key Points:

• Stock classes that age up (e.g., lambs, calves, hoggets, 2th) are automatically updated to the next age group at the end of the financial year. This update is reflected in the Livestock Reconciliation section.
• The automatic ageing process ensures your records stay accurate and up to date without manual adjustments.

TIP: Regularly check your livestock reconciliation to ensure all movements are correctly recorded and aligned with your financial records.

Note: If the Found event has been used, it will appear as a positive movement in the Deaths & Missing column.
