Option 1: From Settings Go to Settings > Contacts. Select Add new contact. Enter the relevant details in the contact form. Click Save. NOTE: To use the Bill Payment process, enter the contact's bank account details. To automatically send tax invoices to a supplier, enter their email address. To create a Buyers created tax invoice (NZ) or Recipient created tax invoice (Australia) , enter the GST or ABN details, as appropriate. Address finder helps populate address fields. A contact’s postal address is required for tax invoices and credit notes. Option 2: From an Invoice or Bank Transaction Click into the header. Select Other Party. Click + Add new. Enter the details in the contact form. Click Save. Editing a contact You can edit a contact using one of two methods. Option 1: From Settings Go to Settings > Contacts. Click the three dots next to the contact and select Edit contact. Update the required information. Click Save. Option 2: From an Invoice or Bank Transaction Click into the header. Select Other Party. Click the pencil icon to edit. Update the details and click Save. Deactivating a contact Go to Settings > Contacts. Select the contact you want to deactivate. Click the Contact status “Active” toggle. The colour changes from green to grey. Reactivating a contact Go to Settings > Contacts. Click the Show inactive toggle (colour changes from grey to green) to display inactive contacts. Select the contact you want to reactivate. Click the Contact status “Active” toggle. The colour changes from grey to green. Deleting a contact Go to Settings > Contacts. Hover over the contact and click the three dots. Select Delete contact. NOTE: If the contact has been used in an invoice, bank transaction, tax invoice, or credit note, it cannot be deleted. Instead, deactivate the contact. Searching for a contact Use the search bar in the top-right corner of your screen. Enter any part of the Contact name or Email address to refine your search. Click Show Inactive Contacts to include inactive contacts in your search. TIP: Hover over a contact, click the three dots, and select Edit, Reactivate, or Delete as needed.
